Sapphire Flakes

These abstract falling flakes seem to float in a sea of Orange. This necklace is made with Marigold Yellow and Sapphire enamels. Enamel is the ancient art of melting powdered glass onto metal by firing it with a torch or Kiln. If you like designs that takes on a shape of its own, then you might like this. I have a big percentage of control when firing, but not 100%, and that's okay because it makes "one of a kind" distinct on its own. No two will ever be the same.

The enameled disc is 1 x 3/4, and the Bronze plated chain is 15 inches long and sits high upon the neck.
